VIP-Energy is a series of software modules covering the calculation of the entire building energy balance. The calculation kernel is based on a dynamic energy equation using a physical model of the building and world-wide weather data.      

VIP-Energy calculates the energy demand for heating and cooling.
It contains sophisticated calculation methods for heat storage, air infiltration, solar energy, transmission through the ground, heat pumps, floor heating etc. Real weather data is used for taking the external climate into account. This complex problem is easily defined and solved with VIP-Energy.   

VIP has been validated accordning to International Energy Agency Building Energy Simulation Test and Diagnostic Method (IEA BESTEST).
